Making goods is only half of the game. The other half is deciding where they go. Tiny Harvest has several different outlets, and each one pays in a different way: coins and XP, rare building materials, boosts, or rare ores and gems. This guide walks through all of them, in the order you will meet them, and ends with a short cheat sheet on which one to use when.
The Order Board
The
Order Board is open from your first minute. It holds nine orders at a time: three
main, four quick and two special ones. A tenth, premium slot is available from
Level 20.
| Type | Size | What to expect |
|---|---|---|
| Quick | 1 to 2 items, small amounts | Fast and cheap to fill, the lowest rewards. |
| Main | 1 to 3 items | The everyday order. |
| Special | 2 to 4 items, bigger amounts, higher-value goods | The best XP and coins of the free slots. |
| Premium | 3 to 5 items, even bigger amounts | The best payout of all. Unlock it with diamonds: 60 for 4 hours, or 300 for good. |
Each order is from a named customer and lists what they want and what they pay in coins and XP. Orders only ask for things you can actually make: crops you have unlocked, products of buildings you own, and gathered materials from areas you have opened. Early on they are mostly crops, and the share of crafted goods grows as you level.
Why orders matter: they pay well above the sell price — usually much more than the same
goods would earn if sold to the barn. A completed order is replaced right away. If you trash
an order, that slot stays empty for 15 minutes (10 minutes for
Harvest Club members) before
a new one appears.
Delivering orders now and then also drops rare building materials like nails, planks and bricks. They are the key to barn upgrades, and special orders make them more likely.
You can pin the items you need so they stay visible while you craft, and tapping a pinned item jumps to the order that asks for it.
Tip: Treat the Order Board as a shopping list for your crafting slots. Look at what the nine orders want, start the longest craft first, and check back. If an order is hopeless, trash it rather than blocking a slot you could use.
Making orders pay more
Order Board Boost (Upgrades tab, Level 29): +3% coins and +2% XP per upgrade level, up
to +30% and +20%.
Coin Boost and XP Boost items: +25% for 1 or 2 hours.
Weekly events: double XP on Order Rush Day, double XP and coins on Grand Market
Day (last Tuesday of the month) and the Harvest Festival Weekend (first Saturday and
Sunday), and +10% coins on Weekend Market (third weekend).
Visitors
Every few minutes a visitor knocks at your farm: the first one after about two minutes, then
roughly every seven minutes. The
Visitor Charm upgrade (Level 22) takes 30 seconds off
the wait per level. A visitor asks for one kind of item, in a quantity of several, and
only for things you already hold in your barn.
You can deliver or say no. Saying no costs nothing, and another visitor will come by later. A delivery pays coins well above the sell price, a bit more at higher levels, plus a large XP share. Now and then, a rare visitor arrives with a longer shopping list and pays in coins and a bundle of building or mining materials, and every so often a visitor leaves a diamond.
Because visitors only ask for what you hold, a small reserve of each product you make is the best way to turn them into cash.
The Harbor boat (Level 15)
A ship docks at your harbor with six crates, and each crate asks for a number of one
item: some crops, some crafted goods, an animal product, and one bigger premium crate.
Fill a crate and it pays coins, XP and
Boat Points straight away.
Finish all six and send the boat off for a completion bonus that is worth at least as much as all the crates together, with extra XP and one building material (boards, nails, bricks, gears or rope). If you send it off unfinished, you skip the completion rewards.
A few details that help:
- A boat stays docked for up to 16 hours, and the next one arrives about four hours after it leaves.
- You can ask your coop for help with up to two crates, and a coop mate can fill them for you.
- Coupons fill a crate instantly.
- From Level 50, crates can also drop
Sanctuary tokens for the Sanctuary. - Boat Points count toward the boat ranking on the leaderboard, and Busy Harbor Day (the first Wednesday of the month) and the Harvest Festival Weekend double them.
The Harbor pays well in both coins and XP, so try to complete every boat.
Truck deliveries (Level 23)
Trucks are the other big delivery. A truck carries four boxes of different difficulty.
Each box asks for an item and pays coins and XP, and filling all four earns a reward of
barn materials and boost items.
- You get a second truck at Level 43 and a third at Level 64.
- A new truck arrives about an hour after you finish one.
- A truck waits for you for up to 8 hours.
- If you do not like a truck’s requests, you can skip it for coins (100 per level, capped at 2,000). The next one arrives after two hours.
- Highway Haul Day (certain Thursdays) doubles the barn materials from completed trucks.
Barn materials like planks and nails are what you spend on barn upgrades and many other upgrades, so trucks are the steadiest way to stock up.
The Market Board (Level 11)
The Market is the player-to-player trading floor. Tap an item in the Buy tab to buy it from another player, or list your own extras under My Sales.
- You set the price, within a cap that is a multiple of the item’s base price, and the game shows the typical market price to guide you.
- A listing holds up to 10 of an item and lasts 7 days.
- You start with 4 listing slots, and you can unlock more with diamonds, up to 20.
- You can bump a listing to the top every 12 hours.
- You get three free cancellations a day; after that, a cancellation costs a few diamonds.
- When something sells, the coins arrive in your
Inbox.
From Level 28 you can hire the
Market Scout with diamonds. It watches a list of items
and notifies you when someone lists one of them.
Tip: Selling on the
Market is great for items you make in bulk but never need, like surplus animal goods. For things the Order Board wants, delivering is almost always better.
The Wanted Board (Level 14)
The
Wanted Board is the Market in reverse. Instead of listing what you have, you post what
you need and offer a price per item.
To post a request, pick an item, a quantity of 1 to 10 and a price per item. The price must be at least double the item’s sell price. You can post up to five identical requests at once. The coins are held in escrow when you post, a request stays open for 24 hours, and you start with one slot (more slots cost diamonds, up to 10).
To earn from it, browse the board and deliver the items other players are asking for. You are paid the offered price per item, and partial deliveries are fine. It is a lovely way to sell goods at a premium, because the price is at least twice the base value.
The Airport (Level 70, in the Valley)
The Airport is a Valley building that turns surplus goods into rare materials instead of
coins. You unlock it by finishing the Blacksmith and contributing to the Airport (see the
Valley & Town guide).
One plane is docked at a time. You pick a destination, load three cargo slots with goods that destination accepts, and send the plane off for 90 minutes. A plane waits up to 12 hours for cargo.
| Destination | Unlocks | Accepts | Brings back |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mountain Town | Level 70 | Cooked meals, baked goods, animal products | Stone, coal and ores |
| Port City | Level 72 | Textiles, tools, crops | Barn materials (boards, nails, bricks and more) |
| Desert Outpost | Level 73 | Crops, cooked meals, processed goods | Silica and raw gems |
| Mining Colony | Level 75 | Cooked meals, tools, processed goods | Ingots |
| Island Resort | Level 78 | Luxury goods, baked goods, animal products | Cut gems |
The fuller the cargo, the better the reward, and filling all three slots completely earns a completion bonus. Every destination levels up as you fly there and unlocks better rewards at destination Levels 1, 3, 5, 7 and 10. Sometimes a plane returns with a bonus find.
The Town’s trade posts
The
Valley Town has three more places to trade. They are covered in the
Valley & Town guide:
- the
General Store (Level 11), which sells rotating offers that change every six hours; - the
Traveling Merchant, Merrin (Level 21), who asks for three big orders a day; and - the Exchange, where valley traders swap ores, ingots, gems and fish for useful items.
Which outlet should I use?
| You want… | Use |
|---|---|
| Strong coins and XP for the goods you make | Order Board and Harbor boat |
| Building materials for upgrades | Trucks, and rare drops from orders |
| To clear a surplus stack | Market Board or Wanted Board |
| A quick XP boost from stock on hand | |
| Rare ores, ingots, gems | Airport and the Exchange |
| A particular item you cannot make | Market Board or your own Wanted Board request |
A simple rule covers most cases: deliver before you sell. Everything on this page pays
more than the barn does. For more on income, see
Making Coins, and for XP,
