The Sanctuary opens at Level 50. It is home to seven rare animals that you adopt with
Sanctuary tokens. Once they live with you, you feed them for rewards, and they wander
around your
Farm Map.
Tokens
There are four tokens: Green, Blue, Purple and Gold, from common to rare.
- Boat crates from
Harbor Shipments can drop tokens when the boat returns. Green ones
are common, Gold ones rare. - The coop weekly chest can include tokens.
- Feeding your animals sometimes gives a token back.
Spare tokens trade up to the next colour:
| Trade | Rate |
|---|---|
| Green → Blue | 5 for 1 |
| Blue → Purple | 7 for 1 |
| Purple → Gold | 10 for 1 |
The animals
| Animal | Tokens needed |

| Alpaca | 10 Green, 8 Blue, 4 Purple |
| Reindeer | 12 Blue, 6 Purple, 1 Gold |
| Panda | 10 Blue, 8 Purple, 3 Gold |

Feeding
- Craft Sanctuary Feed at the Feed Mill (3 Wheat, 2 Corn, 2 Carrots and 1 Soybean, 45 minutes).
- Feed each animal one portion. Each animal can be fed once every 8 hours, and a Feed All button feeds every hungry one at once.
- Every feeding rolls a reward: most often a rare barn material, otherwise diamonds, a boost, a Helper Potion, a coupon or a token.
Rarer animals give better rewards: the Phoenix pays clearly more than the Peacock, and its rolls lean towards diamonds, tokens and coupons.
Tips
- Adopt the Peacock first. It is cheap and starts paying right away.
- Save Purple and Gold tokens for the big animals rather than trading them up blindly.
- Tokens also have a second use in the Town: from
Popularity 300 the Key Maker melts
them into brass for keys. - Collecting all the animals counts toward the Sanctuary Master achievement, and five of them earn the title Animal Whisperer.
See the Sanctuary animals table for every animal.
