The General Store is the
Town’s shop. Its shelves hold a small, changing set of goods that you
can buy with coins, which is handy when an order or a boat crate asks for something you are
short on.
How it works
- The store shows eight offers at a time.
- The stock changes every six hours: at midnight, 6 AM, noon and 6 PM on your device.
- Each offer is a bundle of one item, and each can be bought once per stock.
- Offers are goods your farm can already make: crops, animal goods and crafted goods. Cheap early goods come in bundles of 3 to 8, valuable late ones in bundles of 1 to 3.
- From Level 25, one or two offers are gathered goods from your expedition areas, such as wood, resin, berries or honey, and later fish, reeds, ore and coal.
Prices
The store is a convenience, not a bargain. Crafted goods cost about 2.5 times their sell price, and raw crops cost more than that, because buying them saves you hours of growing time. Gathered goods sit in between.
Tips
- Check the store when a single item is all that stands between you and a finished boat or truck. Paying a little extra is often better than waiting hours.
- For cheaper goods, look at the
Market Board, where other players sell their extras. - One chapter of the Town story asks you to buy something here.
