At Level 37 a little sapling spirit moves into your farm. It grows with the things you do every day anyway, and it helps out in two ways: with journeys and with its Green Thumb trait.

Journeys
Send your companion out on a journey (a task), and it comes back with a reward.
- A journey costs coins up front. The cost grows with your level and your companion’s.
- A journey takes 4 hours at companion Level 1 and 15 minutes longer per level, so about 11 hours at Level 30.
- The reward is a handful of items (crops, goods, sometimes boosts or other rare finds) plus coins that give back most of the cost.
- A badge on the Spirit button shows when a journey is done.
Longer journeys at higher levels fit nicely around the night: start one before bed and collect it in the morning.
Green Thumb
Your companion’s trait gives a chance of one extra crop each time you harvest a field: 0.5% at Level 1 and 0.5% more with every companion level, up to 10% from Level 20. Leveling it up pays off on every harvest you make.
Tips
- Log in daily and do your Daily Quests: together they are the steadiest companion XP.
- Keep a journey running all the time. Journeys give the companion XP too.
- The companion counts toward the Collection pillar of your
Harvest Score.
