The Spire is the last Valley building you can restore so far. Once it stands (Level 80,
after the
Airport), it becomes a seasonal tower: every season you climb it floor by
floor, and the higher you get, the better your season rewards. What it takes to restore it
is in the
Valley buildings table.
Seasons
- A season runs for 6 weeks, followed by a 1-week break.
- Every season starts a new climb. Experienced climbers start higher: a lifetime best of floor 50, 100, 200 or 300 lets you begin at floor 6, 11, 16 or 21.
- The tower has 500 floors. Each season also has a theme that shifts which tasks come up more often.
Floors
Each floor is a contract. Clear it, collect its reward (XP, coins, sometimes materials, and Ascension Points), and the next floor opens.
| Floor type | What it asks |
|---|---|
| Supply | Deliver goods of a category until a bar is full |
| Expedition | Finish Mine runs, some at a minimum depth |
| Forge | Finish jobs at the Blacksmith |
| Dispatch | Send Airport flights filled to a set level |
| Keystone | A bigger contract on floors 10 to 40 |
| Clearance | Floor 50 and every tenth floor after it |
A Clearance floor is a gate. It asks you to hold a number of Seals, which are items
taken to Gold, Platinum or Mythic in your
Mastery Album, and to pay a coin toll. Part of the
tolls you paid comes back as coins at the end of the season.
Ascension
Floors and season tiers pay Ascension Points (AP). You spend them in the Ascension tree, five tracks of ten permanent bonuses each:
| Track | Improves |
|---|---|
| Harvest | Crop growth and animal output |
| Expedition | Mine run time and double drops |
| Commerce | Order coins and order XP |
| Craft | Crafting, Refinery and Blacksmith speed |
| Ascent | Floor rewards, Clearance tolls, checkpoints |
Nodes cost 1 to 18 AP and open in order. The deeper nodes also need a lifetime best floor.
Season rewards
Your highest floor sets your season tier, from Bronze (floor 10) through Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Mythic, Ascendant (floor 300) and Celestial to Zenith (floor 500). Higher tiers pay AP, diamonds, materials, Forge Flux and gear. The season ranks pay extra diamonds and AP to the top climbers, and the top three earn a monument for the farm.
Your lifetime progress also earns the Spire badge on your player card, and titles from
Spire Climber to Spire Champion. See the
Trophies & Titles guide.
Tip: Gold items in the Mastery Album double as Seals, so a full album makes the Clearance gates much easier.
