Privacy Policy

This policy covers the TinyIndie website at tinyindie.de and our iPhone games TinyCoffee, TinyTrade and TinySpirits, run by Simon Grimm and Ioannis Preis ("we", "us"). We are the controllers responsible for your personal data under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Our contact details are in theImprint.

Our games have their own privacy policies:TinyHarvest,TinyLemonade.

The short version

• This website sets no cookies.
• There are no ads and no third-party trackers or analytics tools.
• We do not sell or share your data.
• If you write to us, we only use your message to answer you.

Hosting and server logs

This website runs on our own TinyIndie server in Germany, which may keep standard server logs, which can include technical data such as your IP address, to deliver the site and keep it secure. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a working, secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Visitor counter

To see how the site is used, we count visits with our own counter on that server (no third-party tools). For each page view it records the page, the referring page, campaign parameters in the link, your browser's time zone and language, screen width and device type, how long the page stayed visible and clicks on external links. Your IP address is only used, together with your browser's user agent and a random value that changes every day, to tell visits apart on the same day; the IP address itself is never stored. The data is not shared and is deleted after 400 days. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in understanding how our website is used (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Contact form

If you use the "Work with us" form, we receive the topic, your name, your email address, your company (if you enter one) and your message. We use them only to answer you. The form sends your message to us as an email through Resend (Resend, Inc., USA), which processes it on our behalf. Data may be processed in the United States; Resend relies on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. We keep your message in our inboxes as long as we need it for the conversation and delete it after that, unless the law requires us to keep it. Legal basis: answering your request (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).

You can also simply email us instead of using the form.

TinyCoffee

• The app does not collect, store or share any personal data.
• There are no ads, no analytics and no third-party code (SDKs) in the app.
• There are no accounts, and the game works fully offline.

Your game is saved in one file on your device so you can continue where you left off. This file is not sent to us. Deleting the app removes it.

If you choose to send us feedback from the app, it opens your own mail app with a prepared email that names the app version and your iOS version. Nothing is sent unless you send that email, and we only use it to answer you.

The app offers one optional one-time in-app purchase that unlocks the full game. Buying it and restoring it are the only times the app uses the network, and it only talks to Apple's App Store. Apple handles the payment. We never see your payment details. Apple only tells the app whether the purchase has been made. See Apple's Privacy Policy for how Apple handles your data.

TinyTrade

• The app does not collect, store or share any personal data.
• There are no ads, no analytics and no third-party code (SDKs) in the app.
• There are no accounts, and the game works fully offline. It does not use the network.

Your game is saved on your device so you can continue where you left off. It is not sent to us. Deleting the app removes it. The app has no in-app purchases; if that changes, we will update this section before it does.

TinySpirits

• The app does not collect, store or share any personal data.
• There are no ads, no analytics and no third-party code (SDKs) in the app.
• There are no accounts, and the game works fully offline. It does not use the network.

Your game is saved on your device so you can continue where you left off. It is not sent to us. Deleting the app removes it. The app has no in-app purchases; if that changes, we will update this section before it does.

Links to other services

The site links to the App Store, Google Play, Discord, TikTok, YouTube and other sites. Only when you follow such a link does the other service receive your data, under its own privacy policy.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct and delete your data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. To use them, email us. You can also complain to a data protection authority, for example the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (BayLDA).

Changes to this policy

If we change how the website handles data, we will update this page and the date above.
